How we build

Step 1

Preliminary
planning

We’ll evaluate your site to understand how your prospective new home will integrate with the surrounding landscape. Our assessment considers factors like site dimensions, slope, and solar orientation. After this we will have our [meeting] where we chat about your lifestyle preferences, energy efficiency priorities, and overall design and layout.

Step 2

Concept sketches
and specifications

Our consultants will create a comprehensive specification [document?] that mirrors your aspirations and desires for your residence. During this phase, you have the option to integrate our premium Bryan + Petersen offerings and modify any elements. After finalising your specifications, our design team will prepare initial sketches for you to review.

Step 3

Quoting

Once your plans and specifications are finalised, our estimating team will provide you with a quote for your review and approval. Your consultant will carefully guide you through this process.

Step 4

Colour selections

While your contract documents are being finalised, our certified interior designer will schedule a meeting with you to assist in choosing external and internal finishes, floor coverings, and other details. All the selected finishes will then be integrated into your Specification Document.

Step 5

Pre-contract
documentation

Once you’ve approved our quote, Bryan + Petersen will obtain all necessary documentation to finalise your contract. This includes structural documentation and plans. Additionally, we will outline the procedures in case you decide to make any changes to your plans.

Step 6

Contract

Upon confirmation of all plans, specifications, and structural designs, a fixed-price contract will be created. This contract will not be signed until you’re entirely satisfied that it accurately reflects your desires for your new home and covers all specified elements.

Step 7

Building permit

Once the contract is signed and finance is confirmed, Bryan + Petersen will proceed to arrange the issuance of your warranty insurance certificate and apply for your building permit on your behalf. During this time, Bryan + Petersen are completing your construction file, which includes placing all orders for your materials and required trades.

Step 8

Build commencement

Congratulations! Your new home is now under construction! Throughout the build, you can be assured of our attention to detail. It’s something we pride ourselves on.

Your dedicated Project Supervisor will be in touch weekly to provide you with updates and to arrange on-site meetings at various milestones throughout the construction process.
